PhotobucketAs a part of the Bloggy Giveaway Carnival, I will be giving away a Mommy Preparedness Kit! That first year of motherhood is a whirlwind and most mom's are left feeling like they've lost themselves along the way. Here are three things I think are essential during that first year: a way to clean the kid, a way to clean you and a way to have some time to yourself.

  • A pink 3-piece baby bath set (hooded towel, washclth and terry tub toy) because babies are messy!
  • A Tide-to-Go pen (see above reason)
  • A copy of The Widow of the South because moms need some down time!
Ready to win? Here's how!
  1. Leave a comment on my post telling your favorite homemade dessert. Mine is my grandmother's homemade strawberry shortcake.
  2. On Friday, February 2nd at 11:59 PM EST, comments will close and a winner will be selected using a random number generator. The winner will be posted on Sunday, February 3rd.
  3. Duplicate comments will be deleted.

This giveaway is open to bloggers and non bloggers for US shipping addresses only. The winner will be notified on Saturday, February 2nd via email. The winner will have 4 days to respond with a shipping address. (Don't forget to check your Spam/Bulk folders.) If I don't receive the information within the time frame, another winner will be chosen by random number.

    My favorite homemade dessert is a cake my mom used to make for my birthday each year. It has cake on the bottom, a layer of crushed pineapple, a layer of vanilla pudding, and a layer of cool whip. :) Delicious. :)
